Day 1–2 | Sydney – Porto | Arrival & Welcome
Our journey begins with an overnight flight from Sydney to Porto, arriving in the morning. After time to rest, we’ll set off on a gentle city walk, followed by a private winery visit with our host and an exclusive tasting. Dinner marks the start of our Northern Portugal immersion.

Day 3 | Porto – Ponte de Lima | Romans & Gardens
This morning, we uncover Porto’s hidden corners, grand monuments, and vibrant food shops with our chef. After a coffee stop in an iconic café, we’ll continue to the Roman city of Ponte de Lima for a regional lunch. The afternoon takes us through medieval streets, award-winning monuments, and spectacular gardens. A local host introduces us to the village’s celebrated wines and cured meats.

Day 4 | Viana do Castelo | Royals & Chocolate
We wake in our stately manor house before heading to the historic port of Viana do Castelo. Once a royal residence, the city brims with tradition, from its cod-fishing heritage to its elaborate costumes. In the afternoon, enjoy optional chocolate therapy before returning for a manor house dinner.

Day 6 | Douro Valley | Cooking & Relaxation

Day 8 | Douro Valley – Porto | From Vineyards to the Sea
Our farewell to the valley includes visiting an 18th-century quinta, once the heart of Portugal’s wine industry. Here, we’ll hear the inspiring story of a pioneering woman who shaped the region’s wine heritage. Depending on timing, we may take the scenic historic train back to Porto. Tonight, a memorable farewell dinner awaits in a special setting.

Day 9–10 | Porto – Sydney | Full of Saudade
On our final morning, enjoy free time for shopping or visiting Porto’s contemporary art foundations before our return flight. We leave with saudade—the soulful longing for a place that has captured our hearts.
